Welcome to the Senior Artistry blog!

Senior Artistry was started May 6, 2018 as a feature account for senior photographers. I started the account because I’ve known for a while that I wanted to get back into blogging, and I wanted to create a new blog that focuses on business. (I currently have a makeup/fashion blog I’ve been neglecting since it seems the business posts on it get more traffic, and that wasn’t the focus of that blog :/ )

I was inspired by the other feature accounts, but there are only a few that have blogs. So Senior Artistry was started to not only feature photographers, but to also feature helpful tips and tutorials!

I was a journalism major in college, so obviously I LOVE writing and telling stories. I don’t find myself doing much writing with photography, so I use blogging and YouTube-ing as another creative outlet.

This blog will feature tips and tutorials written by me as well as guest writers/photogs. And there will be a featured photographer on here once per week as well. (The Instagram account features photogs every day.) For a chance to be Photographer of the Week, enter in the Facebook group here: https://www.facebook.com/groups/seniorartistry/

For the chance to be featured on the Instagram account (https://www.instagram.com/seniorartistry/), follow these guidelines:

• Follow the account.
• Then, submit via DM, or use #SeniorArtistry. Or tag @seniorartistry ON the photo. (Caption tags get lost in the notifications.)
• If you send a DM, you can send more than one photo if they’re from the same session/senior. (Do this once per day please–if sending DMs.) (No limits on the tags & hashtags.)

And, as I always say, I wish I could re-post everyone, but there’s not enough hours in a day! 😭😭😭
