What inspired this session?
The inspiration for this session was the quote, “Here’s to strong women. May we know them. May we be them. May we raise them.”
I’ve had this look in mind for some time and was struggling to find the best location. I had a gravel yard picked out, but due to all the recent rain, that idea had to be scratched. I drive by this location on the way to my mother’s all of the time and suddenly saw it with new eyes. I am very thankful I did because it was the perfect combination of rugged and beautiful.
What was your favorite thing about this session/senior?
My favorite thing about this session and senior was her willingness to hold a pose like a statue while 3 people fluffed this very heavy parachute.
What lenses and other equipment did you use?
I shot this with a 24-70 2.8, and I also used OCF for the majority of this session.
What is your #1 tip for marketing to seniors that you’d like other photographers to know?
My number one tip for marketing to seniors is to keep your Instagram feed different from what they see from every other photographer in your area. Try to stand out any way that you can.
